How often should I schedule Home Valet visits?
We recommend quarterly visits for most homes to stay ahead of routine maintenance. However, you can customize your plan based on your needs and property size. At Home Valet Pros, we’re not here to upsell - we’re here to advocate. Unlike contractors or service companies who may profit from selling you a replacement, we don’t sell appliances, systems, or parts. That means our only job is to give you honest advice about what your home needs - and when it actually needs it. Whether it’s your HVAC system, water heater, garbage disposal, or dishwasher, we’re a neutral third party. If it doesn’t need replacing, we’ll tell you. If it does, we’ll let you know why - and even help you find the right professional to do the job, if it's outside our scope.
What’s included in a typical Home Valet service?
Home Valet Pros provides routine home maintenance and handyman services through affordable, credit-based packages. Services that we handle include: AC filter replacement, dryer vent and washing machine cleaning, refrigerator water/ice filter changes, caulking, patching, painting, door repairs, minor carpentry, hanging shelves, hanging drapes, garbage/recycling bin cleaning, rug shampooing, light pressure washing and general preventative home maintenance.
What types of homes do you service?
We service a wide range of residential properties, including single-family homes, townhouses, and condos. Custom plans are available for larger or unique homes. Our services are perfect for busy professionals that don't have time for home upkeep, seniors aging in place, people with limited mobility, adult children managing the home needs of elderly parents, second homeowners or landlords needing consistent upkeep, and homeowners who want prevention over emergency repairs.
Can I cancel or change my plan anytime?
Yes, you can cancel your membership anytime with just two weeks’ notice before your next scheduled visit. No penalties, no hassle. You can reach us anytime by phone, text, or email. We pride ourselves on responsive, friendly customer service - and we’re always here to help.
Do you handle repairs or just maintenance?
Home Valet Pros is a preventative home maintenance and handyman service designed to keep your home in top shape - without the stress of doing it all yourself. Our primary focus is preventive maintenance, but we can coordinate repairs with trusted service professionals if issues are found. We offer fully customizable service plans with flexible scheduling, consistent technicians, and a credit-based system that lets you prioritize what matters most to you. From changing filters and cleaning vents to minor repairs and routine upkeep, we handle the small stuff before it becomes a big issue.
Who performs the service visits?
Home Valet Pros is fully licensed and insured. All Valet professionals are background-checked and drug-tested for your safety and peace of mind. While we can’t always guarantee it, we’ll always do our best to assign the same Valet to your home for consistency and trust.
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies based on your plan and home size. Home Valet Pros has five pre-determined packages customers can choose from that range from $89.99 per month to over $400 per month. All services are billed per visit but quoted monthly for simplicity. Please contact us for a personalized quote or view our pricing plans online.
Where are you located?
We’re headquartered in Highland, Maryland, and we currently serve homeowners within a 25-mile radius of our base. If you’re unsure whether you’re in our service area, just ask – we’re happy to check!
Can I request a one-time visit instead of a package?
Our services are built around ongoing preventative care, but we do offer one-time assessments or special visits when technician availability allows. Just reach out and we’ll see what we can do. That said, our best rates and scheduling priority are always reserved for members.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and personal checks at the time of service. For your convenience, we can securely store your preferred payment method on file for future visits – making checkouts quick and seamless.
